Vagina Tightening Gels : How They Work, Are they Harmful ?

Vagina tightening gels are one of the best and very fast selling products in the world today,  as it is a new trend for women to feel their vaginas have become loose and buy them to tighten it.

Many have claimed it works but does it really work truly as they claimed ?

What Happens When You Use A Vagina Tightening Gel?

Many of these vagina tightening gels dry out the wet covering layer of the vagina, thereby decreasing lubrication in the vagina.

Without proper vaginal lubrication, there is increased friction and stimulation, but not because your vagina is “tighter”.

This increased friction will cause painful sex and can cause some small tears that will leave the vagina vulnerable to infection.

Vagina tightening gels also cause the tissues of the vagina to swell up temporarily giving off the impression that the vagina is now “tighter” but the effects will wear off.

Are Vagina Tightening Gels Harmful?

The vaginal wall creates essential lubrication to protect the vagina from injury, tears and to keep it clean and wet.

Vaginal tightening creams remove this lubrication, and then totally expose the vagina to different types of infections.

So, in conclusion, yes, vagina tightening gels or creams are harmful to you.

What Are The Alternative Safe Ways ?

Kegel (pelvic floor) exercises

Kegel exercise, also known as pelvic floor exercise, involves repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor, now sometimes referred to as the “Kegel muscles”.

Kegel pelvic floor exercises are an effective way to strengthen and tone the vaginal wall.

Keeping these muscles ‘fit’ helps keep your uterus, bladder, and your bowel from sagging down into the vagina.

Kegel exercises are performed by lifting, holding, and then relaxing your pelvic floor muscles. Start by doing a small number of exercises (lifts/squeezes, holds, and relaxes) over a short period of time, then gradually increase both the length of time and the number of exercises you are doing in each session. You can check YouTube for more detailed information about Kegel exercises.

Actually, vaginoplasty can mean a lot of different things, but in general, it is a procedure to “construct” or “repair” the vagina.

Vaginoplasty is a procedure that aims to “tighten up” a vagina that has become “loose” from vaginal childbirth or aging.

It is also a surgical procedure for women who have extreme stretching, muscle separation, or tearing during childbirth.
